A year of books

2020 has been a year of books for me. Though I missed the year-goal, I did read 18 books — way more than I've ever read in a single year.

This did mean I spent less time on the piano. And ever lesser time on hobby projects. (I did find the time to read tech books though!) But it was still great. I'm going to try and read 20 books this year, which is approximately 2 books a month.

As for the piano plan for the year, I'm gonna carry forward last years plan.

Despite the year 2020 was, it happened to be a win on so many levels for me:

  • Read a lot of books.
  • Worked on super-impactful projects at Parmonic. (Very nice to see the product do really well, customers LOVE it!)
  • Improved my piano skills considerably.
  • Played computer games — but I've come to accept that I don't really enjoy games that much.
  • Took time for personal growth.

2020 was a super busy year though — felt like SO much happened.
It was also a blur.

Hopefully this year will be more chill!
